Heritage buildings ground displacement in university education

The main event and widely sharing knowledge.

The presented papers will be related to selected objects affected by induced seismicity.

This workshop will positively influence cross-border cooperation, creating a picture of the perception and solution.

14:00 - 16:00     IN - SITU MEASUREMENT
16:00 - 17:30     DISCUSION

In- labo measurement

The laboratory experiment will focus on measuring technical seismicity on a prepared small-scale structural model. Vibrations will be induced using a small-scale excitation device, while the dynamic response of the structure will be recorded using accelerometers and dedicated data acquisition equipment.

15.10. 2026

PROGRAM TAKES PLACE AT UNIZA REKTORÁT

10:00 - 12:00     IN - SITU MEASUREMENT
12:30 - 13:30     LUNCH AT NOVÁ MENZA
14:00 - 15:00     IN - LABO MEASUREMENT
15:00 - 16:00     DISCUSION

In-situ measurement

The in-situ experiment will focus on measuring the dynamic response of a historic building subjected to artificially induced vibrations. Accelerometers installed at selected locations within the structure will record its response to vibrations generated by full-scale excitation equipment.
